Maybe it's all them hours (equating to weeks) playing Grand Theft Auto but I am a fiend for a fake radio station. On 'Radio Chévere' Carwyn Ellis's Rio 18 are the house band for a mixtape of Latin funk, yacht rock, samba, salsa, psyche, cumbia and disco sung by a range of guest vocalists in four different languages (Spanish, Portuguese, English and of course Welsh). The result is a gem of an album that sounds like you've accidentally turned the dial to the world's most joyful pirate radio station.
