Album of the Month Club

We’re launching an Album of the Month Club, it’s like a wine of the month, or a cheese of the month club or a screwdriver of the month club but it’s… well it’ll be a record, won’t it?

Look, it’s hardly a fresh idea but we think it’s a great way to introduction folk to the newest records that we (well, me, Rob) believe will be a constant rider on your turntable.

Each month that you’re signed up you will receive one new release on vinyl (no reissues), wrapped and presented in our trademark kraft paper stamped bag, plus some free added extras; whether that’s a signed edition of the album or signed print, artwork and/or merch plus a letter telling you why I loved and picked this record out.

We will also be bringing back the Limited Addition Records Tote Bag exclusively to Album of the Month Club members. ALSO, we will provide free shipping on orders placed and ready to ship when posted out with your AOTM.

OH AND THAT’S NOT ALL, BUDDY OL’ PAL (good grief, what now!?) The first batch of signer-uppers will receive a FREE RECORD from our vaults to go out with your first delivery. We’ll be in touch to ask your genre and vibe preference and send something we reckon you'll really dig. 

The Remit

• Exclusive variants! if it’s a colour vinyl, Indies only or the limited edition version of that record we will always send this edition out over the standard. If you like Black Vinyl though, we get it, let us know and we’ll sort you out
• We only pick out the Good Stuff! This is a shop borne out of music curation and hand selected records based on what we believe are the finest sounds from all genres of music and from all around the world. If it ain’t the Good Stuff it ain’t Album of the Month. Saying that, if you ain’t feeling it (we get it), get in touch and we can swap it out
• Indies first! Look, we love labels from all across the world of music but as an independent record shop we will always look to support labels with that same spirit. It’s also worth saying that many of these labels excel at putting their passion for finding, promoting and supporting only the most cutting edge, forward thinking and quality artists. Saying that, a great record is a great record and you may find some major label stuff from time to time.

• How much is shipping? It's all baked in, baby, don't worry about it
• What do I get when I sign up? We’ll send a ‘Welcome to the Club’ confirmation email and will also provide a digital card if you’re choosing to gift to a good egg in your life
• When am I getting my gear? We wish we could line up release dates to be a consistent week every month but as we’re picking the best of that month we are reliant on when that stock is with us. Don’t worry we’ll keep you all up to date
• Can I exchange if I have it or don’t want it? As long as the item is still sealed (or as shipped) we will gladly accept a return and you can swap for a similarly priced record or receive credit
• Will you be offering overseas? Initially we are making this a UK only Club, which is a little unfair but we are working on the logistics of how we can make this work. If you'd really really like to join please do get in touch and I can see if there's something we can do for you
